Louisville’s NuLu Bock Fest and Wurst Fest Returns for 9th Year This March
Louisville, Kentucky – The NuLu Business Association’s annual spring event, NuLu Bock Fest, is set to return on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This marks the ninth year of the beloved festival, which spans four blocks within the NuLu Neighborhood and features a variety of attractions for attendees of all ages.
Event Highlights
- Goat Races: The Jefferson County Farm Bureau will host adult and baby goat races, with goats from Sunny Acres Farm participating. The Louisville Aggies, a local 4H group, will assist the goats to the finish line. Grandstands will be placed on either side of the track for better audience viewing. A total of ten races will take place, beginning with the Blessing of the Goats and Bock Beer at 12:30 pm and ending at 6:00 pm. The featured race will be the Fifth Third Forecast Dash Baby Goat Race at 3:15 pm. Those interested in sponsoring a goat can get more information and complete the sponsorship form via the link below. - Local Breweries: Local breweries will serve up their 2026 bock beers, along with other selections. Craft cocktails and mixed drinks will also be available for purchase.
- Wurst Fest Competition: The annual Kentucky Proud Wurst Fest provides local restaurants the opportunity to put their spin on this traditional dish for the chance to be crowned the Best of the Wurst Fest Winner. - The NuLu 502: Presented by Whiskey Thief, this 502 ft. fun run/walk/strut will take place on Clay Street between Nanny Goat Strut & Billy Goat Strut on Saturday, March 28 at 11:30 am. The pre-race starts on Nouvelle’s patio with a celebratory “popping of the champagne”. Registration includes chip timing, a NuLu 502 goat medal, a commemorative cup, and your first Bock Fest beer on us! Goodwood and Whiskey Thief will be hosting a finish line party next to Goodwood on Clay Street. Rock your best silly Bock Fest outfit or simply show up ready to sip some beer and strut your way across the finish line!

- Baby Goats Pre-Party: February 2026. Kick off Bock Fest season with baby goat photo ops and specialty cocktails for sale. Location will be announced soon!
- St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 14, 2026 – 12-2 pm. Bardstown Road. Come see goats on a float at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the Louisville Downtown Partnership. Free 2025 Bock Fest koozies will be passed out throughout the parade.
- NuLu 502 Race Registration: February 2026. Whiskey Thief Distilling Co. 610 Nanny Goat Strut, Lou, KY 40202. Whiskey Thief Distilling “The NuLu 502” race registration. Save $5 off registration.
